The Sufalam Workation Trip began with careful planning and a positive aim to provide a 10-day workation experience that would balance work, relaxation, and fun. The team at Sufalam Technologies wanted to ensure that their clients' projects would be well taken care of while also allowing everyone to unwind on hills.
The journey from Ahmedabad to Manali commenced on Saturday, September 30th At 9:45 am, providing an opportunity for the team to bond and interact with one another. They played card games and engaged in conversations, making the long journey of approximately 1 day and 8 hours more enjoyable and memorable.
During a stop in Chandigarh, the team had the chance to savour the famous Makhanwala Parathas, known for their delectable taste. After the break, the journey continued towards Manali. Finally, at 7:30 a.m., the team arrived in Manali, filled with excitement and ready to embark on their workation experience in this beautiful destination.
How Does Sufalam Workation Trip Went?
Welcome To Manali, Sufalam Family!
After arriving in Manali, the Sufalam team was warmly welcomed by Zostel, Dhobi. The team was filled with excitement and energy, setting the stage for a fantastic workation trip. They refreshed themselves and then embarked on their first destination, Sissu Valley, enjoying pahado wali maggie. In the evening, a bonfire night was organized, where the team engaged in fun activities like dumb charades and antakshari.
Brain Storming Session to Manage Stormy Tasks
As the trip progressed, after the morning walk on the riverside the team had the opportunity to work with a stunning view of the hills from the windows of Zostel, Dhobhi. The positive environment and breathtaking surroundings inspired productivity and creativity following a brainstorming session with the CEO of Sufalam Technologies - Mr. Pranav Thakker.
Team members asked questions, and Mr. Pranav Thakker responded, seamlessly resolving their working complexities to make our work more scalable. The team dedicated worked half-day while also incorporating the 50-50 work and play concept, ensuring a balance between task management and enjoyment.
Found The Path to Improve Team Understanding
Team understanding is the key to a scalable working process. On this Manali Workation Trip, team members got the opportunity to let know each other in a better way. The team roam around the Manali, exploring different places and the unique food culture.
From visiting the Hidimba temple to seek blessings, passing through the longest tunnel in Manali, the Atal Tunnel, and engaging in thrilling adventure activities like paragliding at heights exceeding 2000 feet as well as river rafting, they encouraged each other to conquer fears.
Next, savoring delectable food became a pivotal part of the journey. They motivated each other to try out the must-try authentic street food at Mall Road, Manali such as the famous momos, siddu, laphing, thukpa, and more at nearby cafes; afterwards, they went shopping for stuff that would make good souvenirs.
Adding to the unique experience, the team had the chance to pluck fresh apples while working, immersing themselves in the natural beauty of Manali's orchards. Additionally, two adorable puppies, Rosy and Jordan, brought joy and playfulness to the workation trip.
As the day transitioned into the night, they had fun at Explosion Nightclub, sharing the joy of performing Garba, dancing, and singing together. This incredible experience overall strengthened the office friendships.
How the Sufalam Workation Manali Trip Came to an End?
The Sufalam Workation Trip came to an end with a joyful and memorable series of events. The team clicked group photos, proudly wearing their Sufalam t-shirts, capturing the spirit of togetherness and camaraderie.
To celebrate the successful workation, we had a cake-cutting ceremony, spreading cheer and appreciation for their accomplishments during their time in Manali; ending the trip on a high note with a live music night. As a playful farewell, the team members have horror pranked each other, adding laughter and amusement to their final moments in Manali.
Although the trip came to an end, the impact and memories created during the Sufalam Workation Trip will continue to be with us after our return to Ahmedabad.
